Our Story
Eric and I were introduced by his cousin and a good friend of mine, and we would like to use this opportunity to thank her for our blessed meeting! Yes, Gwen, we are talking about you :-)
Although, we work in close proximity; we never ran into each other. It took Gwen's match making for us to lock eyes. I saw Gwen at one of my favorite places, Wal-Mart. And, she told me about her cousin, Eric, that she really wanted me to meet. I was very hesitant, because blind dates typically don't turn out well for me. I even had to submit a picture for his review, which almost caused me to back out. Well, I guess that he liked my picture, because we met at his favorite restaurant.
UMMM! UMMM! UMMM! I was happily surprised on our first date; he was handsome, well spoken, smart, and a gentlemen. We talked the whole time without out a moment of silence. During this same time, Eric was planning to refurnish his bedroom, so I took the opportunity to help him redecorate. I watch HGTV all the time, and they make painting look really simple. So, I suggested that we paint his bedroom, before he had the new furniture delivered. Well, I would like to tell everyone that painting is not easy, but I did win my place in his heart that day. So, that's how it all started!
