We didn’t want our wedding to be pompous, but rather – sweet and funny and with plenty of tasty food! The girls from Susan’s bakery made us a beautiful layered marzipan cake. Everybody loved it, of-course…
We started at midday, with a short church service – nothing special, the usual vows and such. Our parents were extremely pleased though. It’s like, you know… Some people say they marry in faith only not to disappoint their family.
After the official part, we moved to a hotel. It was nice, ‘cause the guests could finally enjoy themselves. There was a decent pool in there, a couple of snooker tables and a magnificent restaurant. Having my brother Dex as an example, we decided we would hire a professional to help us organize everything. I must say – Emily was such a sweetie! She literally did everything for us (especially, the unpleasant and stressful things like calling/booking/ordering and stuff like that). So, once again – special thanks to her. I’d wholeheartedly recommend her! A great, great wedding planner.
What else… Hmm. I’d like to write some more, but I ain’t no writer, and I think that the best things in life can only be experienced. Pictures and texts, even the best ones, do not really pass your feelings, emotions and excitement on to the reader, so I think, I’ll have to stop writing and urge you to go get married with the one you love and then you will understand what I’m talking about. Seriously!
